Meet the Teacher
Stephanie Hunt
Stephanie Hunt graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor's degree in Literary Studies. She taught middle school music classes at a private, university model school in Lucas, Texas before moving to a private music studio where she taught voice and guitar lessons. Mrs. Hunt also homeschooled her four children. She is currently teaching 3-10th grade History and 5-10th grade English at Strong Tower Academy. Mrs. Hunt attends Fulton Community Church where she serves on the worship team. She has lived in the Rockport area for 3 years and is the proud wife of a Texas Game Warden. Mrs. Hunt also serves on the Board of Directors at Strong Tower Academy as the Vice President.

Meet the Teacher
Leanna Reininger
Leanna Reininger is the proud wife of Pastor Brad Reininger of Fulton Community Church. She and Brad reside in Rockport and have 4 children. Leanna loves the Lord and is currently serving as the director of the church. Mrs. Reininger is also a worship leader and has a passion for serving. She has experience in various teaching and leadership capacities including over 14 years of youth ministry, directing camps, Bible studies, VBS and leading a church plant. Her desire is to see children and adults on fire for Jesus. Mrs. Reininger proudly teaches all of the Faith classes at Strong Tower Academy and is currently serving on the Board of Directors as the Dean of Spiritual Development.

Amanda McCombs
Amanda McCombs will be teaching 5th-10th grade science this school year. This will be Mrs. McCombs second year teaching at Strong Tower Academy. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for 15 years and has 3 children who attend Strong Tower Academy. They have lived in the area for the past 5 years. She has a background in hospitality, the pediatric medical field and children's ministry. Mrs. McCombs is passionate about Jesus and serves as a teacher in the children's ministry at Hope Church in Rockport. When she is not teaching, she is enjoying her kids, managing her homestead, spending time with family and supporting her husband in his men's ministry.

Meet the Teacher
Billie Miller
Billier Miller has been married for 25 years and has 4 children and 7 grandchildren. She has lived in the Rockport area for 5 years. Mrs. Miller has worked in Special Education for 10 years and has training in classroom management, and vision impairment assistance. She has skills in planning and implementing individual/small group/classroom goals for students and has experience with various behavior management systems. Mrs. Miller previously lived in New Mexico where she worked with Girl Scouts as a membership and program specialist. She loves spending time with her family, crafting and being out on the water when she's not busy teaching all levels of Math at Strong Tower Academy.

Katie Pfeil
Katharine Pfeil graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minor in English. She is an author (Katharine E. Hamilton) of over 38 titles and a publishing consultant and mentor for new authors. She teaches and speaks at various writing conferences around the country but calls Fulton home. She moved to Fulton a little over two years ago with her husband and two sons. Her oldest son attends STA. Her love for education had Katharine pursuing a teaching career in 2009 (History 8-12) but led her to working for an education supply company. Katie teaches the first and second grade class at STA, where she takes students on reading adventures through various subjects with fun activities, projects, and experiments.

Robyn Doucet
Robyn Doucet is the mom of nine and grandmother of 31. She has lived in Rockport for two years with her husband who manages an RV park in the area. Mrs. Doucet homeschooled 4 of her 9 children and was actively involved in kid's ministry for the past 10 years before moving to Rockport from Southeast Texas. She is currently teaching 7-10th grade Life Skills classes at the school and is on the Board of Directors as the Communications Director for Strong Tower Academy. In her spare time, Mrs. Doucet loves to read and is the author of a blog. She also enjoys fishing and spending time with her grandchildren when she is able.

Tonia Garza
Tonia Garza grew up on a farm in Nebraska and has lived in the Rockport area for the past 3 years. She had 4 years of advanced Art in High School, attended Frank Phillips Art College, and has painted several murals in school classrooms. She has experience working with acrylics, oils, ink, charcoal and sculpting clay. Mrs. Garza enjoys realistic landscapes, Native American paintings, architectural buildings and pottery. She has 3 children, 8 grandchildren and currently attends FCC in Fulton, Texas. She will be teaching all grade levels of Art at STA.

Jennifer Vejar
Jennifer Vejar is passionate about reading and writing literacy. Her passion stems from her desire to help the “individual” realize his/her own empowerment to “be” and to “become”. Mrs. Vejar holds a BS in Education & Psychology, an MS in Reading: Curriculum & Instruction and 9 graduate-level hours in English: Writing Studies as well as numerous certifications and awards. She is happily married and the mother to one son. Her hobbies are reading and writing. Post-Mississippi, Mrs. Vejar lived in Corpus Christi for six years, and has been in Rockport for three years. She will be teaching 1st-4th grade Reading at Strong Tower Academy.

Meet the Director/Principal of Strong Tower Academy!!
Roxanne Reininger was born and raised in Rockport, Texas. She has served in public education for 28 years. She has served as a Middle School Principal, High School Assistant Principal, Dean of Instruction, College & Career Readiness Coordinator and Lead School Counselor. Dr. Reininger has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Masters in School Counseling and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. We are so blessed to have Dr. Reininger here at Strong Tower Academy!
